Church of Saint Augustine
This church was built in 1299: it’s characterized by a very simple façade with a precious central round arched door, forming with the lintel a lunette in accordance with its rose window. The apse is architectonically the most important and beautiful part, with a semi- octagonal apse enclosing three oblong windows in Gothic style, facing the central side and the two lateral sides. Inside we can find a single nave with six impressive pointed arches on which the roof structure is leaning. We can see four ogival windows on every side wall. The bell tower is directly built over the ancient city walls. Near the church there’s the recently restored Cloister.
