Massa Marittima is in the middle of the Metalliferous Hills in the northern part of Maremma, which takes a wide area of Tuscany and slope down to the Tyrrhenian coast of the Gulf of Follonica. This suggestive corner of Maremma presents itself with a succession of slight slopes, sometimes covered with woods, sometimes planted with olive trees and grapes, sometimes with small fascinating villages.
